What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this site, we collect what you put in the form: your name, your email address, and the message or service interest you give us. That’s it. We don’t ask for more than we need to reply to you.
Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, for security and reliability.
If you accept analytics and advertising cookies, we also collect usage data through the tools described below.
Why we collect it
We use your enquiry details for one purpose: responding to you about your project. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering the enquiries people send us, and, where you continue into a project, taking steps to enter a contract with you. Analytics and advertising data is collected only on the basis of your consent.
Analytics and advertising
With your consent, we use tools that set cookies and similar identifiers:
- Google Analytics 4, to understand how the site is used.
- Google Ads, to measure our advertising and, where enabled, show it again to people who visited the site.
- Meta Pixel, to measure and target advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
These run only if you accept them. We collect and manage that consent through Google’s consent tool, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Google explains how it uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites; Meta at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Who processes it
- Web3Forms delivers your enquiry from the website to our inbox.
- Netlify hosts the website.
- Google provides Google Analytics and Google Ads.
- Meta Platforms provides the Meta Pixel.
We don’t sell your data, share it with advertisers beyond the ad measurement above, or add you to a mailing list you didn’t ask for.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States (Google, Meta, Netlify, Web3Forms). Where that happens, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as the correspondence stays relevant. If you never become a client, you can ask us to delete the thread at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to our processing of it, or ask us to restrict it. Email hello@wagyudigital.com and we’ll sort it.
If you’re not happy with how we handle that, you can complain to a data protection authority. Our lead authority is Poland’s Personal Data Protection Office (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl). If you’re in another EU country you can also complain to your local authority; in Ireland that’s the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes up here with a new date at the top.
