About

Get found online. Here's who makes that happen.

No mission statement. Just what we do, who we do it for, and why we bother.

Meet the founder

Who you'll be dealing with.

I'm Michael, born and raised in West Cork. For the last ten years I've worked in technical roles around the world, starting out in advertising technology sales. Part of that job was analysing hundreds of websites a week, which is where I learned the foundations: advertising, SEO, and how traffic actually moves online.

“I'd studied hundreds of websites before I built my first. I knew what small businesses were missing, and that the big agencies weren't going to fix it.”

Along the way I picked up web design and development, and got a close look at what works and what doesn't across hundreds of businesses, each with its own way of winning customers. In 2024 I founded Wagyu Digital, so I could work directly with publishers and small businesses, giving them the full picture instead of one piece of it, without the constraints of my old role. That's how Wagyu Digital, and everything on this site, came to be.

Why it exists

Small businesses kept getting big-agency treatment.

Wagyu Digital started in 2024 as a consultancy for digital publishers and media businesses. Working with them, one thing kept standing out: smaller local businesses were getting the big-agency runaround, budgets spent on account managers and reports nobody read, instead of the work that brings customers in.

So we widened what we do. The same senior attention the publishers got, pointed at the local businesses that needed it most. In two years, that gap in the Irish market shaped the Wagyu Digital you see in 2026, now covering the full range of services on this site.

What we do

We bring local businesses online, then help them grow.

We build websites, run advertising campaigns, and get you found in search. A full suite of services across three stages: get you online, grow the work, then keep it sharp.

Take one service or the lot. Most owners start with a website and add as they grow. A clear price and a launch date on all of it.

Three linked stages descending in a diagonal: get online, grow online, stay online
Who it's for

Built for the busy, not the big.

Independent businesses that need to be online to pull in work, sales or readers.

Trades & home services

Builders, electricians, landscapers: businesses that win work when the phone rings.

Clinics & practices

Physios, dentists, vets: appointment-led businesses that need to be found first.

Shops, food & independents

Cafés, galleries, gyms: places with regulars, and room for more of them.

Artists & creatives

Painters, photographers, makers: a portfolio that shows the work as well as it deserves.

News & media publishers

Local papers and niche sites: an audience to hold onto and ad revenue to protect.

Professional services

Accountants, solicitors, consultants: enquiry-led firms that need to look the part and be found.

How we work

From questionnaire to go-live, no saga.

Five short steps, start to finish. You'll always know which one you're on.

  1. Questionnaire

About 30 minutes that tells us your business, your services and your style.

  2. We build

Designed and built to the scope we agreed, in your brand.

  3. Your changes

One gathered-up round of your feedback, folded in.

  4. Go live

Live on the date we agreed, on foundations you own.

  5. Tidied after

Minor adjustments covered after go-live, while you settle in.

And you own it all: the site, the web address and the hosting, in your name. No lock-in, nothing held hostage.See plans and prices

How we're different

A price and a launch date, up front.

No vague scope, no price that creeps, no disappearing act. Here's what you get.

A clear price

We agree the full price with you before we start, based on a scope we set together. It only moves if you change the scope.

A launch date

We agree a launch date up front and hold to it. Change the scope and we reset it with you; otherwise it stands.

Senior people on the work

The people who scope your project build it. No juniors learning on your time.

One point of contact

You deal with Michael start to finish, even when specialists come in.
